Paradise Valley is a census-designated place (CDP) in Humboldt County, Nevada, United States, near the Santa Rosa Ranger District of Humboldt National Forest.It is located at the northern terminus of Nevada State Route 290, about 19 miles (31 km) northeast of U.S. Highway 95 and a total of 40 miles (64 km) north of Winnemucca.
No major changes were made to State Route 8B during its existence. The route number remained active until the renumbering of Nevada's state highways that began on July 1, 1976. [6] SR 8B became the present-day State Route 290 in that process, a change first seen on the 1978–1979 version of the state's highway map. [7]
