join(separator, list_of_strings) returns a list of strings joined with a separator Description Joins the list of strings into a new string, with the separator string between each of the substrings. Opposite of split. Related sprintf
You can explicitly split them to make a list. The "constructor" for lists is of course called list. It's recommended to use when elements come from variable or command substitution (braces won't do that). As Tcl commands are lists anyway, the following is a full substitute for the list command:
Integer, a direct representation of either the integers or the non-negative integers; Reference, sometimes erroneously referred to as a pointer or handle, is a value that refers to another value, possibly including itself; Symbol, a unique identifier; Enumerated type, a set of symbols; Complex, representation of complex numbers
Many authors also use concatenation of a string set and a single string, and vice versa, which are defined similarly by S 1 w = { vw : v ∈ S 1} and vS 2 = { vw : w ∈ S 2}. In these definitions, the string vw is the ordinary concatenation of strings v and w as defined in the introductory section.
The length of a string can also be stored explicitly, for example by prefixing the string with the length as a byte value. This convention is used in many Pascal dialects; as a consequence, some people call such a string a Pascal string or P-string. Storing the string length as byte limits the maximum string length to 255.
Nim provides string interpolation via the strutils module. Formatted string literals inspired by Python F-string are provided via the strformat module, the strformat macro verifies that the format string is well-formed and well-typed, and then are expanded into Nim source code at compile-time.
To define the join, form a relation on the blocks A of α and the blocks B of ρ by A ~ B if A and B are not disjoint. Then α ∨ ρ {\displaystyle \alpha \vee \rho } is the partition in which each block C is the union of a family of blocks connected by this relation.
Note that Python allows negative list indices. The index -1 represents the last element, -2 the penultimate element, etc. Python also allows a step property by appending an extra colon and a value. For example:
