Bhediya (pronounced [ˈbʱeːɽɪjɑː]; transl. Wolf) is a 2022 Indian Hindi-language comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik. Produced by Dinesh Vijan from a story and screenplay by Niren Bhatt , it stars Varun Dhawan alongside Kriti Sanon , Abhishek Banerjee , Deepak Dobriyal and Paalin Kabak.
Varun Dhawan joined the set in February 2024 to film a guest appearance at a Mumbai studio, reprising his role from Bhediya (2022). [29] One improvised scene involved Rajkummar Rao singing " Calm Down " by Rema and Selena Gomez , which led to the producers paying ₹25 lakh in residuals.
The sixth installment and sequel to Bhediya named Bhediya 2 is in the pipeline with Amar Kaushik returning as the director and Varun Dhawan reprising his role. While the project has been officially announced, the makers are still in the pre-production phase, and principal photography has not yet started.
