Shamong Township (pronounced "Shuh-MUNG" [16]) is a township in Burlington County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey.As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 6,460, [7] [8] a decrease of 30 (−0.5%) from the 2010 census count of 6,490, [17] [18] which in turn reflected an increase of 28 (+0.4%) from the 6,462 counted in the 2000 census. New York Mills is a village in Oneida County, New York, United States. The population was 3,327 at the 2010 census. The village of New York Mills is partly in the town of Whitestown and partly in the town of New Hartford. It is a western suburb of the city of Utica.
