The JMA Wireless Dome, [note 1] originally the Carrier Dome (1980–2022), is a domed stadium in Syracuse, New York, United States. Located on the campus of Syracuse University in the University Hill neighborhood, [ 6 ] it is home to the Syracuse Orange football , basketball , and lacrosse teams.

For the 2007-2008 season, the women's basketball team played all of its home games in the Carrier Dome for the first time. On January 27, 2008, a temporary AstroTurf-like "carpet" was installed to provide practice space for the outdoor teams until the permanent installation took place.
The new stadium was named Carrier Dome (now JMA Wireless Dome). In the final game at Archbold Stadium, on November 11, 1978, the Orangemen defeated nationally ranked Navy, 20-17. The 1981 Big East men's basketball tournament took place at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse, NY. It was a single-elimination tournament with three rounds. Boston College had the best regular season conference record and received the #1 seed. Syracuse defeated Villanova in the championship game by a score of 83–80 in triple overtime.
