    I’m having the same problem. The character map lets one copy for pasting letters with macrons, but if I want to do that I type “macron” in the search field of my browser and the Wikipedia article appears and I copy them from it. That’s much faster and simpler than searching the hard drive, then keeping a little window open for it.
