Sri Lanka boasts over 1,200 identified mountains, predominantly located in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. This province features three major forest reserves with significant mountain clusters: Knuckles Mountain Range, Pidurutalagala Forest Reserve, Horton Plains National Park, and Peak Wilderness Sanctuary.
Its summit is home to the central communications array of the Government of Sri Lanka and armed forces and serves as an important point in the country's radar system. The peak is currently designated as an "ultra-high security zone", and protected by a large military base; the peak is strictly off-limits to the general public.
Kirigalpotta is the 2nd tallest mountain in Sri Lanka at 2,388 m (7,835 ft) above mean sea level, and is also the highest mountain in the country whose summit is accessible to the general public (the highest point, Pidurutalagala, is occupied by a military base and off-limits to the public).

Sri Lanka Kikilimana (also spelt Kikiliyamana ) is a mountain in the Central Province of Sri Lanka . At a summit elevation of 2,240 m (7,349 ft), it is the 6th tallest mountain in Sri Lanka, after Pidurutalagala (2,524 m), Kirigalpotta (2,395 m), Totapolakanda (2,357 m), Kudahagala (2,320 m), and Adam's Peak (2,243 m).
