Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. [1] The band currently consists of Mike Ness (lead vocals, lead guitar), Jonny Wickersham (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Brent Harding (bass, backing vocals), David Hidalgo Jr. (drums), and David Kalish (keyboards).

Social Distortion released their seventh studio album, Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes, on January 18, 2011. [1] During the band's set at Hellfest 2022, Ness commented on stage that the band was set to enter the studio in September 2022 to start recording. The band then played a new song off the aforementioned forthcoming album.
