The Creed of Phi Kappa Tau was written by brother National President Roland Maxwell ( Southern California '22) on November 19, 1950. Maxwell penned the creed while on a plane flight from Los Angeles to Chicago, legend has it that he wrote it in less than 30 minutes on the back of an envelope.
