Does anybody have any idea how the ball physics in Blade Ball were created? I’ve been trying to replicate it for educational purposes but everything just seems so much less smooth and more glitchy than the one in theirs

In blade ball, if you block early, once the ball comes to you before there is a cooldown, you can deflect the ball. I want that to happen to my game, however, I can’t figure out how to do it. I tried using runservice and loops, but those only caused bugs.

By adding an offset based on the camera’s direction. So the ball will start at the origin, go to the mid, and finally the end. I would calculate mid point by finding the distance from the origin to the end and use the camera direction to create the mid. The more points the better.
Does your game use any type of node code? So i have this system pretty much done except for the part where you actually hit the ball towards your opponent, Well i also have that part done but when you hit the ball it instantly goes towards the opponent your hitt….
