Legoland California Resort is a theme park, miniature park, and aquarium [4] in Carlsbad, California, based on the Lego toy brand. Opening on March 20, 1999, it was the first Legoland park to open outside of Europe. [ 1 ]
Legoland Windsor Resort (/ ˈ l ɛ ɡ oʊ. l æ n d w ɪ n d. s ər /), styled and also known as Legoland Windsor, is a theme park and resort in Windsor, Berkshire in England, themed around the Lego brand. [2] The park opened on 17 March 1996 and is currently operated by Merlin Entertainments.
On January 19, 2012, Legoland California confirmed that they would build a new attraction for the 2012 season called Pirate Reef, a Hopkins shoot-the-chutes attraction. [3] It is themed to pirates and features 28 new Lego models for the park. The 28 new models are made out of 250,000 Lego bricks. [1]
