The Administrative Code directs the North Carolina Justice Academy to develop instructor and student lesson plans and training aids for the “Required In-Service Training Topics.” Additionally, the Academy will develop lesson plans for use for the Department Topic of Choice.
The Basic Law Enforcement Training (BLET) Curriculum prepares entry-level individuals with the cognitive and physical skills needed to become certified law enforcement officers in North Carolina.
