In Greek mythology, Nestor of Gerenia (Ancient Greek: Νέστωρ Γερήνιος, Nestōr Gerēnios) was a legendary king of Pylos. He is a prominent secondary character in Homer 's Iliad and Odyssey , where he appears as an elderly warrior who frequently offers advice to the other characters.

In Greek mythology, Eurymenes (Ancient Greek: Εὐρυμένης means 'broad and strong' [1]) was a prince of Pylos and son of King Neleus by Chloris, daughter of Amphion. [2] He was the brother to Pero , Taurus , Asterius , Pylaon , Deimachus , Eurybius , Epilaus , Phrasius , Evagoras , Alastor , Nestor and Periclymenus .
