Ada (/ ˈ eɪ d ə / AY-də [6]) is a village in Hardin County, Ohio, United States, located about 69 miles (111 km) southwest of Toledo. The population was 5,334 at the 2020 census . It is the home of Ohio Northern University and Ada High School.
Ohio is divided into 15 congressional districts, each represented by a member of the United States House of Representatives.After the 2010 census, Ohio, which up until then had 18 districts, lost two House seats due to slow population growth compared to the national average, [1] and a new map was signed into law on September 26, 2011.

Ada is a historic train station in Ada, Ohio, United States. Built in 1887 by the Pennsylvania Railroad, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998 as the Ada Pennsylvania Station and Railroad Park. [1] It is a wooden building, set on a stone foundation and topped with an asphalt roof. [2]

In Ohio, the Ohio Revised Code section 1545 provides for general park districts, often known as "metro parks", in addition to "township park districts" allowed under ORC section 511.18. Township park districts may be converted into "metro parks" by public election. Section 1545 park districts are authorized to operate their own park police as well.
