The Cavite Provincial Board is the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (provincial legislature) of the Philippine province of Cavite. The members are elected via plurality-at-large voting : the province is divided into eight districts, two representatives in each district.

KNHS was founded in 1974 under the name Kaong Barangay High School. At that time, the school consisted of a single room borrowed from the local elementary school, with a single teacher teaching all subjects to the twenty-four students. The school graduated its first class of twenty-one students in 1977.
Since the school is located inside a private village, free shuttle services have been introduced to ease the students' commute. There are shuttles serving the town proper of Silang and the main gate of the subdivision where the campus stands. In 2015, the official student publication of the college, Simbuhan, was launched.
