Ketchikan Gateway Borough is a borough located in the U.S. state of Alaska. As of the 2020 census its population was 13,948, up from 13,477 in 2010. [2] The borough seat is Ketchikan. [3] The borough is the second most populous borough in Southeast Alaska, the first being Juneau Borough.

Saxman (Lingít: T’èesh Ḵwáan Xagu [3]) is a town on Revillagigedo Island in Ketchikan Gateway Borough in southeastern Alaska, United States. At the 2010 census the population was 411, [4] down from 431 in 2000. The city of Ketchikan lies just to its northwest.
At statehood in 1959, title to the land passed from the federal government to the State of Alaska. The historic site, comprising 8.5 acres (3.4 ha) of the park, was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 27, 1970.
