Bowers Coaches [1] was a bus company based in Chapel-en-le-Frith, Derbyshire, England. The company operated bus and coach services in Cheshire East, Derbyshire and Greater Manchester from 1952 until 2012. In its later years, it was a subsidiary of Centrebus and in 2012 it was merged with the Dove Holes depot of Trent Barton to form High Peak Buses.

Chester City Transport commenced operating bus services in Chester in 1930. [2] It was operated as part of Chester City Council. To comply with the Transport Act 1985, the bus operation was transferred to a separate company in 1986. [1] It continued to trade as Chester City Transport until rebranded as ChesterBus in April 2005.
The bus station was expected to open in early 2017, but was delayed. The first buses entered the facility during a test on 27 March 2017. [ 3 ] The first passenger service to use the bus was Chester's park and ride service on 30 May 2017, and most other services began using the station on 5 June. [ 4 ]
