Indian Institute of Information Technology Sonepat (IIIT Sonepat) is an Indian Institutes of Information Technology located at Sonipat, Haryana.The academic session of IIIT Sonepat started from its temporary campus at NIT Kurukshetra from year 2014 [1] Right now it is running in Shri Balwant Institute of Technology, GT Road Sonepat.
The Institute shifted to its permanent campus on July 2, 2018. The campus is located on a 67-acre plot, 4 km from Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, on the National Highway. A 9200 sqm Academic-cum-Administration building houses all the Institute's activities.
The campus of IIT Guwahati is on the northern bank of Brahmaputra and abuts the North Guwahati town of Amingaon. The campus is on a 700 acres (2.8 km 2) plot of land around 20 km (12 mi) from the heart of the city. It has the Brahmaputra on one side and hills and vast open spaces on others. IIIT Raichur started its academic activity in August 2019 from the temporary campus of Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Telangana.
