Leander Independent School District is a school district based in Leander, Texas and covering a total of 200 square miles (520 km 2) in Leander, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Jonestown, Round Rock in Williamson County and northwest Austin in Travis County. In 2015, the school district was rated "Met Standards" by the Texas Education Agency. [2]
Founded in 2003, it serves as the third high school in the Leander Independent School District, (LISD) The school graduated its inaugural class, known as the "Alpha" class, in 2007. The school was built due to the rapid growth in the area, and continues to grow with the recent construction of its auditorium and John Gupton Stadium.

Tom Glenn High School, commonly known as Glenn High School or simply GHS, is a high school located in Leander, Texas. It opened in the 2016–2017 school year as the sixth high school of Leander Independent School District. [2] As of 2016, the school is the northern most high school in the district.
