Edgworth is a small village in the civil parish of North Turton, in the borough of Blackburn with Darwen, Lancashire, England.It is between Broadhead Brook on the west (expanded artificially to form the Wayoh Reservoir) and Quarlton Brook in the south east.
Huncoat was once a township in the ancient parish of Whalley, [10] this became a civil parish in 1866, forming part of the Burnley Rural District from 1894. However, on 1 April 1929 the parish was abolished and merged with Accrington, the area became part of Accrington Municipal Borough (until 1974). [11]
