Messalonskee High School is a public high school located in Oakland, Maine, United States. It serves all high school students in the RSU 18 school unit, which includes Oakland, Sidney, Belgrade, China and Rome. The school was founded in 1969 and currently has slightly more than 700 students enrolled.
Winslow Schools were in the process of developing a new school system to get rid of the junior high, and send the 6th graders to the elementary, and add on for 7th and 8th graders at the high school, plus a new auditorium. A 600-seat one was included in a November 2017 referendum, but failed.
Morse dropped from EM Class A to WM Class B in 2011. Rockland District High School merged with nearby Georges Valley High School in 2011 to form Oceanside East/West High School. Oak Hill High School was a Class B member until 2012 when they moved to the Mountain Valley Conference, a Class B/C league in the western mountains.

As a senior, he averaged 24.4 points, 13.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and three blocks per game, leading his team to the Eastern Maine Class A semifinals. Mayo was named Maine Gatorade Player of the Year and was a finalist for the Mr. Maine Basketball award. [1]
