    Scientific Calculator is wrong. When inputing the equation it added a multiplication symbol that changed the results and made the answer incorrect. I tried and was unable to remove it. The answer is 1 not 16. iPhone 12 Pro Max. There are no replies.

  10. We don't use "*" (that's just star) or "x" [ex] in Europe. The correct symbol is "×", so the question wasn't answered at all. Apparently the original poster thought that this did resolve the issue as they marked it "Solved". And, the original poster also didn't say that they were in Europe. The asterisk will work in Excel.
