Men's basketball. Michael Jeffrey Jordan (born February 17, 1963), also known by his initials MJ, [9] is an American businessman and former professional basketball player. He played 15 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA) between 1984 and 2003, winning six NBA championships with the Chicago Bulls.
Jordan is the only player in NBA history to record back-to-back 50-point games in the playoffs, scoring 50 and 55 in Games 1 and 2 against the Cavs. He also scored 49 points on April 17, 1986 and 63 on April 20, 1986 in back-to-back games against the Boston Celtics.
