Fatal Fury 2: The New Battle (バトルファイターズ 餓狼伝説2, Batoru Faitāzu Garō Densetsu 2, "Battle Fighters: Fatal Fury 2") is a 1993 anime television special based on the Neo Geo SNK video game Fatal Fury 2, and is a sequel to the 1992 television film Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf.
Fatal Fury 2 was the second game in SNK's 100-Mega Shock series, offering improved graphics and gameplay over the original Fatal Fury: King of Fighters. The play controls were modified, this time making full use of the Neo-Geo's four button configuration, by including four attack buttons (Light Punch, Light Kick, Strong Punch, and Strong Kick).
