Md Sayedur Rahman is a Bangladeshi physician and former vice-chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. [1] In November 2024, he became the special assistant (status equivalent to a minister of state) to the chief adviser of the Interim government of Bangladesh.
Since 2014, the college has also offered five-year postgraduate residency courses (M.D. and M.S.) under Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). [1] [16] Journal of Rangpur Medical College (JRMC) is the official journal of the college. [17] It is a peer-reviewed, open access journal, published semi-annually in March and September.
The college offers five-year BDS course (under Dhaka University). It also offers MS courses affiliated to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). Under Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) the FCPS courses are also offered.
