Aisha, also known as Layla in the 4Kids and Cinélume dubs, is the Fairy of Waves and the Crown Princess of Andros, who can control a pink fluid called Morphix. Introduced in the second season, she joins the Winx after the fairies rescue her from Lord She is rebellious and athletic, with a passion for sports and dance.
The season follows the Winx Club's second year at the Alfea College for Fairies, where they strive to earn an enhancement to their powers called Charmix. A new member of the Winx Club (Aisha, [a] the Fairy of Waves) is introduced in the season's first episode. Meanwhile, the Trix are freed from their prison by Darkar, who becomes their leader.
Rainbow's original description of the fifth season, given at the Licensing Show 2010 in Las Vegas, indicated that all seven Winx fairies would be active members in the season (Bloom, Flora, Roxy, Stella, Musa, Tecna and Aisha/Layla). Later in 2010, however, the season was heavily reworked.
On 8 October 2006, a Winx Club CGI film was announced on Rainbow's website. The Secret of the Lost Kingdom was released in Italy on 30 November 2007. [ 49 ] Its television premiere was on 11 March 2012 on Nickelodeon in the United States. [ 50 ]

Winx Club is an animated television series co-produced by Rainbow SpA and later Nickelodeon. [note 1] It was created and directed by Italian animator Iginio Straffi.It premiered on 28 January 2004, becoming a ratings success in Italy and on Nickelodeon networks internationally.
The five members of the Winx Club return to Alfea where they are promptly punished for their excursion having to clean up the library, while Valtor continues his conquest to recoup his power. In the b-story, Winx Club discover the tremendously strong healing effects of the Enchantix fairy dust, with which Aisha uses to cure her blindness.
