Khalida Riyasat (Urdu: خالدہ ریاست; July 7, 1953 – August 26, 1996) was a veteran Pakistani television actress. [1] Along with Roohi Bano and Uzma Gillani, she dominated Pakistan's television screens from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. [2] [3] [4]
She made her debut as an actress on PTV in the 1970s. [2] She was noted for her roles in the dramas Intezar Farmaiye, Sassi, Tapish, Mera Nam Hai Muhabbat, Chhoti Si Duniya and Uljhan. [5] [6] [7] She also appeared in dramas Kaash Main Teri Beti Na Hoti, Moorat, Ahmed Habib Ki Betiyan, Riyasat, Tootay Huway Per and Omer Dadi Aur Gharwale.
In 2013 she was very well known by the audience and appeared in several dramas, she was praised for her acting and was recognized for her acting skills and for playing different characters.
