Busways is an Australian bus company operating services in Sydney, and in the Central Coast, Mid North Coast regions of New South Wales and Adelaide. It is the largest privately owned bus operator in Australia.

In December 1999 Sydney Buses purchased the business of North & Western Bus Lines whose depot adjoined. [3] After initially operating as Gladesville depot, both were integrated.
On 1 June 2014, Busabout's Sydney Bus Region 2 services passed to Interline and Busabout took over the Sydney Bus Region 15 services from Busways. [14] [15] [16] A new depot in region 15 opened 20 January 2015. [17] On 8 October 2023, Region 15 services passed from Busabout to Transit Systems NSW, as part of a consolidated Region 2. [18] [19]

Willoughby Bus Depot opened on 1 July 1958 on the site of a former tannery. It operated routes, which were a combination of tram replacement routes and existing services operated by North Sydney Bus Depot.
