The 2024 Copa del Rey final was a football match to decide the winners of the 2023–24 Copa del Rey, the 122nd edition of Spain's primary football cup (including two seasons where two rival editions were played). The match was played on 6 April 2024 at Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville between Athletic Bilbao and Mallorca. [4]
Following an internal split from Sevilla FC another club was formed, Betis Football Club. 1914 saw the culmination of a merger between Betis Football Club and Sevilla Balompié. With the patronage title, the club became Real Betis Balompié. On 8 October 1915, the first Seville derby took place, ending with a 4–3 Sevilla victory.

The club have won La Liga once and the Segunda División four times. They have won the Copa del Rey five times and the Supercopa de España once.

The game had what UEFA described as "the largest travelling support to have assembled for a single game" [3] – around 80,000 Celtic fans travelled to Seville for the final.

The 2021 Supercopa de España final decided the winner of the 2021 Supercopa de España, the 37th edition of the annual Spanish football super cup competition. The match was played on 17 January 2021 at the Estadio de La Cartuja in Seville, Spain. [4] The match was a clásico between Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao.
