Brock University is the only school in Canada and internationally to offer the MICA (Mathematics Integrated with Computing and Applications) program. Brock Independent School District is a public school district based in the community of Brock, Texas . Brock's basketball programs (girl's and boy's) have been perennial state powers, including an unusual "double-double" in 2001-2002 and 2002-2003, when both the girl's and boy's teams won consecutive titles.
Brock earned a bachelor's degree from City College of New York, a Master's degree in English rhetoric from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Ph.D. in library and information science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The name was changed to Niels Brock Copenhagen Business College in 1991. In 2009–2012, Copenhagen Business Academy was spun off as an independent institution along with vocational programmes that had previously been under Niels Brock, including Copenhagen Hospitality College and the Academy of Chemical and Biotechnical Science.
