Sir John Irving Bell (born 1 July 1952 [1]) is a Canadian-British immunologist and geneticist. [2] From 2006 to 2011, he was President of the United Kingdom's Academy of Medical Sciences, and since 2002 he has held the Regius Chair of Medicine at the University of Oxford. [3]
