The Fox Cities Performing Arts Center, also called the PAC, is a performing arts center in downtown Appleton, Wisconsin, US.The Center is the home of the Broadway Across America – Fox Cities series, the Boldt Arts Alive! series, the Spotlight series, the Amcor Education Series, the Viewpoint speaker series, and the Fox Valley Symphony.
The station first signed on the air on March 7, 1984, as WXGZ-TV, and was the first television station licensed to and based out of Appleton; it was originally owned by Appleton Midwestern Television. The station's original studio was located on North Marshall Road, southwest of the Interstate 41/WI 441 interchange on Appleton's north side.
It is owned by the E. W. Scripps Company alongside Appleton-licensed independent station WACY-TV (channel 32). The two stations share studios on North Road near the WIS 172 freeway in Ashwaubenon (with a Green Bay postal address); WGBA-TV's transmitter is located in the unincorporated community of Shirley, east of De Pere, Wisconsin.
