The Waitsfield Village Historic District encompasses much of the main village center of Waitsfield, Vermont. Extending along Vermont Route 100 on either side of Bridge Street, it is a well-preserved example of a 19th-century village, with only a few sympathetic 20th-century additions.

Waitsfield is a town in Washington County, Vermont, United States. The population was 1,844 as of the 2020 census . [ 3 ] It was created by a Vermont charter on February 25, 1782, and was granted to militia Generals Benjamin Wait, Roger Enos and others.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the Waitsfield CDP has a total area of 0.40 square miles (1.03 km 2), of which 0.39 square miles (1.00 km 2) is land and 0.015 square miles (0.04 km 2), or 3.72%, is water. [3]
