Buckeye Elementary School District 33 is a school district in Buckeye, Maricopa County, Arizona, feeding into Buckeye Union High School District. The district consists of seven K–8 schools, with more than 5,200 students and 650 staff.
Not many years later, as numbers grew, a portion of the first class moved into a one room schoolhouse funded and constructed by community members on the Howe Family Farm. This was the location of the original Howe School, on the west side of Green Bay Rd. across from 33rd St, until 2002 when the building was taken down for residential development.
In 1950, with enrollment growing to 280 students, the district completed the “B” wing of the school, and a new football field was built in its present location, just north of the school. The middle of the decade witnessed the old gymnasium torn down and a new one built while the front part of the shop area was rebuilt in 1959.
