The Forrest City Herald printed its constitution in 1916. [6] The New Castle Herald noted the group and its officers in 1919. [7] In 1940, Forrest City was a stop for the Choctaw Rocket, a passenger train operated by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. Service was discontinued in 1964.

California Township is one of 22 townships in Faulkner County, Arkansas, USA. [1] As of the 2000 census , its unincorporated population was 1,467. The township experienced much unusual geologic activity with the Guy-Greenbrier earthquake swarm in 2010–2011.
Stuart Springs is a city park in Forrest City, Arkansas.The 16-acre (6.5 ha) park is located on the northeast side of the city, at the end of East Arlington Avenue. The park's main features are three springs, which were developed as a spa around the turn of the 20th century.
