Founded in 1998, the History House of Greater Seattle is a historical museum dedicated to the history and heritage of Seattle and its neighborhoods. History House of Greater Seattle is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. It is supported by foundations, grants from the City of Seattle and King County, and tax-deductible donations from the public.

The Fremont Building, also known as the Remsberg Building is a historic commercial building located at 3419 Fremont Avenue North in Seattle, Washington. The two-story building, built in the late 19th and 20th century Revival style, was completed in 1911 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 12, 1992. [ 1 ]
The museum opened a major museum addition on October 11, 2013 called the Bezos Center for Innovation. The project is funded by a $10 million gift from Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos.
