June 28, 2004 – A westbound Union Pacific Railroad freight train collides with the middle of an eastbound BNSF freight that was entering a siding at Macdona, Texas. Several cars on both trains and the four UP locomotives were derailed; one of the derailed tank cars was punctured, releasing liquefied chlorine which vaporized into a cloud.
