Holy Family Catholic Church, located in Orange, California, United States, is a parish church in the Diocese of Orange. It served as the cathedral of that diocese, from the diocese's establishment in 1976, until Christ Cathedral in Garden Grove, California , the former Crystal Cathedral, was dedicated on July 17, 2019.

On July 7, 2011, the Diocese of Orange announced its interest in buying the Crystal Cathedral campus. [21] The diocese had previously purchased land in Santa Ana, California, to build a new cathedral as it had outgrown Holy Family Cathedral in Orange. The Crystal Cathedral offered the diocese three main benefits as a cathedral site:

The parish was established in 1927 and was carved out of the existing parish of Holy Family Church. The first services were held in a private home on the site where the current church is situated. As the parish grew, services were moved to the American Legion Hall on West Arden.
