Campbell County is a county in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is located on the state's northern border in East Tennessee . As of the 2020 census , its population was 39,272. [ 2 ]
The district is located in East Tennessee and borders Kentucky and Virginia to the north and North Carolina to the south. It covers all of Blount , Claiborne , Grainger , Knox , Loudon and Union counties, along with the northern half of Campbell County and a sliver of Jefferson County .

LaFollette is a city in Campbell County, Tennessee, United States.Its population was 7,456 at the 2010 census, [5] with an estimated population in 2018 of 6,737. [6] It is the principal city of the LaFollette, Tennessee micropolitan statistical area, which includes all of Campbell County, and is a component of the Knoxville Metropolitan Area.
Jacksboro was founded in 1806 as a permanent county seat for the newly created Campbell County. The initial property for the town square was deeded by Hugh Montgomery, one of the earliest settlers in the area.
