Small Chapel) is a mountain range in Croatia, part of the Dinaric Alps.It stretches in the direction northwest–southeast, and it extends from the mountain pass called "Kapela" or "Vrh Kapele" (alt. 887 m), [1] that separates it from Velika Kapela, down to the mountain pass that connects Otočac and Plitvice and from then on to Plješevica.
Zalužnica sits on the eastern slope of the Gacka valley and the main pass to the Plitvice plateau from the valley. It sits around the main road running from Plitvice Lakes National Park to Otočac via Vrhovine. By car, it takes about 45 minutes to drive from the village to Plitvice and 20 minutes to Otočac.
