Copperas Cove High School is a public high school located in the city of Copperas Cove, Texas, United States, and classified as a 6A school by the University Interscholastic League (UIL). It is a part of the Copperas Cove Independent School District located in the southwest corner of Coryell County .

West Orange-Cove was ultimately formed from the West Orange, Cove, and Orange Independent School Districts. Shortly after West Orange and Cove consolidated (1965–1966), the new West Orange-Cove was forced to by the Texas Education Agency absorb Orange Public Schools, which had recently dropped its status as an ISD, and operated through the City of Orange.
Student growth in the district averaged over 16% from the mid-eighties through the late nineties. Today, as the largest employer in Coppell with over 1200 employees, Coppell ISD has fifteen campuses serving nearly 10,000 students in grades K-12 including ten at the elementary level, three middle schools, two high school, and an alternative campus.
Students in primary , intermediate , and middle schools have to wear school uniforms. Shirts must be white, blue, gray, or maroon polo shirts. CISD "spirit shirts" are also acceptable. Bottoms may be navy, khaki, or blue denim. Students in Middle School (Grades 6–8) must wear ID badges around their neck.
As of the 2016-2017 school year, the ethnic distribution of the school district was 68.7% White, 27.5% Hispanic, 0.7% African American, 0.5% American Indian, 0.2% Pacific Islander, 0% Asian, and 2.5% from two or more races. Economically disadvantaged students made up 58.4% of the student body, compared with 59.0% for all students in Texas. [4]
