The film was produced by Starz Media and Bolder Media in association with Film Roman and distributed by Starz Distribution.
It produced Bob Boyle's animated preschool series for Nick Jr.: Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, as the only show the company ever produced. Along with Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, the company has also produced the show's books that have been published by Scholastic and other publishers.
