Hillsong United (stylised as Hillsong UNITED or UNITED) is a contemporary worship collective originating from Hillsong Church. Since forming in 1998 out of the church's youth ministry, the group has released fifteen live albums and six studio albums. Band members are involved in Hillsong Church services and also play for the church. [1]

Darlene Joyce Zschech (/ d ɑːr ˈ l iː n ˈ tʃ ɛ k /; née Steinhardt; 8 September 1965) is an Australian Pentecostal Christian worship leader and singer who primarily writes praise and worship songs.
From the late 1990s until 2019 he featured on the United Live albums and was one of the original Hillsong United band's worship leaders. Sampson's main instrument is the guitar although he also plays the piano, flute and drums. Aside from work for Youth Alive and Hillsong United, Sampson has issued solo albums.
To promote the album, Hillsong United toured the United States for the first time in three years, [8] and also released an accompanying film. [9] In the lead up to the release of People (Live), Hillsong United released a range of promotional material for the album, including promotional videos and merchandise.
It was announced on 10 November 2010, that coinciding with the Aftermath album release in February, Hillsong United would tour the United States and Canada in February and March 2011. [2] [3] Aftermath debuted at number one on the US Billboard Christian Albums chart and at number 17 on the US Billboard 200 chart. [4]
