If your Mail settings don't have Rich Text or HTML enabled, you could have problems with viewing images in forwarded emails. These settings can be enabled from the Mail Settings page. In Mail on Mac, click Mail and then choose Settings from the menu. Select your AOL Mail account from the account list. Select the Server Settings tab. Delete and re-enter your AOL account password from the Password fields under the Incoming Mail Server and Outgoing Mail Server sections. Click Save.
