Bruce Township is a civil township of Macomb County in the U.S. state of Michigan.As of the 2020 census, the township population was 9,324. [2] The largely rural township is home to the Ford Motor Company Proving Grounds, which sits on 6 square miles (16 km 2) of land in the western-central part of the township.
Bruce Township is in eastern Chippewa County, bordered on the east by the St. Marys River and West Neebish Channel. The Charlotte River flows through the township to its mouth at the West Neebish Channel. [4] M-129 runs through the western part of the township, leading north to Sault Ste. Marie and south to Pickford and Cedarville.
