Blue's Treasure Hunt is a 1999 educational video game developed and published by Humongous Entertainment, based on the Blue's Clues television series, specifically the episode "Blue's Big Treasure Hunt".
The game was released on April 10, 1996, at 10:07 p.m. EST, with Richard Gnant commenting "Everything about Treasure Quest is a clue." [4] The game had originally been scheduled for release on March 22 at 12:14 a.m. EST, reportedly also selected as a clue, but was delayed by technical issues and number of copies shipped.
Each clue found results in a task for the player. Once all the clues have been located and the tasks presented have been completed, the player helps Steve perform a song, such as the Blue's Clues theme tune. [2] [3] The game is split into three difficulty levels; these affect the task which the player must complete when they discover a clue.
