Custom Robo Arena is the only game in the Custom Robo series that received a global release, which released in North America, Europe, and Australia in 2007. It is the only game released for the Nintendo DS to feature a two-player mode with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection including voice chat, Multi-Card play, and DS Download Play.
The player has a pre-game lobby to get ready for the robot combat action. All matches have rounds of 60 seconds (unlike the 99-second round of most modern fighting video games). Both robots have a separate gauge for energy and damage. Standard punches and kicks can be thrown in addition to special moves (which look like ammunition).
The goal for players is to improve their skills and collect different Custom Robo body kits and gear in order to defeat everyone, including champion Custom Robo users. The main objective of the game is to finish the storyline by collecting every Custom Robo and battle part, while winning every battle that moves players along through the story arc.
BattleBots: Beyond the BattleBox is an action game. Players control a radio-controlled robot and battle it out with other robots to win. The main game mode is Tournament mode, where the player competes in four matches depending on the weight class and must win all four to win an award. The player can also win sponsorships, to earn more money.

Custom Robo, known in Japan as Custom Robo: Battle Revolution, [a] is an action role-playing video game developed by Noise and published by Nintendo for the GameCube. It is the fourth title of the Custom Robo series , and the first title of the series released outside Japan.

Robot Arena was the first game in the series to be released. The objective was to build a robot using available parts and enter competitions to try and win. The player first chose a chassis, then added batteries, weapons and armour, only being able to choose what they could afford from the amount of money that they had.
