Captain Marvel (real name: Mar-Vell; Earth alias Walter Lawson) is a character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics.Created by writer-editor Stan Lee and designed by artist Gene Colan, the character first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #12 (December 1967).
In Captain Marvel, set in 1995, Goose is owned by Mar-Vell. She helps Carol Danvers and Nick Fury battle the Kree before being adopted by the latter. In The Marvels, Goose is now Danvers' pet and is seen living with her on her spaceship. She additionally gives birth to several offspring who help Fury evacuate the S.A.B.E.R. space station.
