John's vision of the Son of Man, also known as John’s Vision of Christ, is a vision described in the Book of Revelation (Revelation 1:9–20) in which the author, identified as John, sees a person he describes as one "like the Son of Man" ().

The Book of Revelation or Book of the Apocalypse is the final book of the New Testament (and therefore the final book of the Christian Bible). Written in Koine Greek, its title is derived from the first word of the text: apokalypsis, meaning 'unveiling' or 'revelation'.
The two witnesses are the true prophetic witness in Revelation (the church), and they serve as the counterpart to the false prophetic witness, the beast from the land, who has two horns like a lamb (Revelation 13:11; cf.16:13; 19:20; 20:10). Similar to this type of proposal is to see the witnesses as general symbols of Christian testimony.
The most significant differences among these exegetes concern the identification of the prophecies in Revelation 1:1–6:11 with historical events.
