Tucktonia was a late 1970s theme park located on Stour Road, Christchurch, Dorset, England. It was officially opened on 23 May 1976 by Arthur Askey. [1] It originally occupied 4 acres (1.6 ha) of the 21-acre (8.5 ha) Tuckton Park Leisure Complex. The park was closed down in 1986. The site has since been redeveloped for residential use.
Winkton is a hamlet to the north of Christchurch in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole district in the ceremonial county of Dorset, England. Avonhead School is a full primary school (years 1–8, or ages 5–13) within Avonhead, located between Ferrier park to the West and Avonhead Road to the East. The school has 631 students as of November 2024. [15] Although located within Avonhead, the school zone also includes sections of the nearby suburbs of Ilam and Sockburn.
